Debbie Dyjak Accepted to Hartford Foundation Policy Institute

 

Debbie Dyjak RN, BSN, MS, GNLA Fellow has been accepted to the John A. Hartford Foundation Change AGEnts Initiative Policy Institute June 5-7, 2016 in Washington D.C.  The institute allows participants to gain a stronger understanding of the complex policy-making environment and ways to drive policy outcomes to improve the care and quality of life for older adults. Debbie's policy change project involves advancing the work of a newly formed tribal nursing home collaborative or UNITE - Uniting Nursing Homes in Tribal Education focusing on workforce development, education, advocacy, sustainability, communication and regulatory challenges. UNITE offers  a forum for tribal nursing homes to communicate and collaborate with and educate each other, tribal Elders, tribal leadership, and other stakeholders about their  unique challenges and innovative solutions.
